Your images
Images selected from your device are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. Re-encoded image exports omit EXIF data such as location and camera details. If compression returns your original file unchanged because it cannot make it smaller, that original retains its metadata.
Importing from a URL
When you choose From URL, the URL is sent to our server, which fetches the remote image and returns it to your browser for local processing. The relay does not store or log the image contents. The remote host receives a request from our server. Use a local file if you do not want a remote image fetched through this relay.
Advertising
Free pages show ads from third-party networks such as Carbon Ads, EthicalAds or Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Visitors in regions that require consent will be asked before personalized ads load.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools people use, so we can improve the site. It uses first-party cookies and receives your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your country and city and does not store. We don't send it anything you type, upload or calculate. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you agree to them; until then Google receives only cookieless measurements. You can opt out anywhere with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Questions about your data can be sent to the contact address on our About page.
