About JustYourImage

Free, private image tools, funded by clearly labeled ads.

What JustYourImage is

JustYourImage is a set of 43 free image tools: compress, resize, crop and convert JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC files. Everything runs in your browser, with no watermark and no sign-up.

How it's funded

Pages show a small number of clearly labeled ads. That's how every tool stays free, with no sign-up.

Your data

Images selected from your device are processed locally. The optional From URL feature asks our server to fetch the remote image, then processes it in your browser. Re-encoded exports omit EXIF data; originals returned unchanged by compression retain their metadata. See the privacy policy for details.

Open source

HEIC decoding uses heic-to (github.com/hoppergee/heic-to) and libheif (github.com/strukturag/libheif), licensed under the LGPL-3.0 (gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0) and loaded unmodified as a separate file. WebP files in browsers without a built-in WebP encoder (such as Safari) are made with libwebp via @jsquash/webp (Apache-2.0). PNG compression uses UPNG.js and ZIP files use fflate (both MIT). AVIF files are made with libavif via @jsquash/avif, and PDF pages are read with PDF.js (both Apache-2.0). GIFs use gifenc, TIFF uses UTIF.js, PSD files are read with ag-psd and PDFs are made with pdf-lib (all MIT). SVG tracing uses ImageTracer.js (public domain).

Processing details and limitations

The tools decode an input image, apply the selected settings and encode a downloadable result on your device. Output quality and processing time depend on the format, pixel dimensions and available memory. Keep an original copy, inspect small text and transparent edges, and compare file sizes before replacing an image. Conversion cannot restore detail already lost to compression.

The guides explain the controls and format trade-offs for each tool. They are not benchmarks or a guarantee of compression savings. See all image tools, the privacy policy and terms of service.

Decoder source and license

The HEIC decoder remains a separate, unmodified module. Its source and license are available at heic-to, libheif and the LGPL-3.0 license.
